A Beneficial Fusion

The time when Russia and America saw each other as enemies can be of the past. The two new leaders of United States and Russia, Barrack Obama and Dmitry Medvedev reached out to each other putting aside prejudices and ill feelings accumulated over the past many years. They came together in London to give joint statements on cooperating on a wide range of global issues including foreign policy. They also agreed to negotiate on a new Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty or START, to limit nuclear weapons. Analysts feel that a successful outcome of this cooperation could be beneficial to both the world leaders.
